This note-taking method, originally developed at Cornell University, is recommended by many educational bodies.

Your can use this approach to summarise any kind of information, for example, lectures, articles, videos, or interviews.

Divide a A4 page into four areas:

In the top area write the date and title.
In the main area write down your notes.
Review your note immediately after writing them down, and use the left section to write down any thoughts, questions, or conclusions.
Write a short summary about the content of this note’s page in the bottom section.

When reviewing your notes, focus on the comments and summary sections.
